Golda's mother likes to tell everyone that Golda was born with a paint brush in her hand. She loves to paint on all surfaces and will paint on anything that will stand still for her. Her designs cover a wide range of subjects, with Christmas being her favorite subject. Golda resides with her husband Galen in LaPorte, Texas and they have six grandchildren. Galen is not ever surprised with the surfaces that inspires Golda to create new designs for them. She was an art student from grade school through college at the University of Houston.
I will paint on anything that stands still long enough. My designs cover a wide range of subjects, Christmas being my favorite.

Golda has been a member of the Society of Decorative Painters for more than twenty years and the Society of Craft Designers. She teaches decorative painting at the chapter level and has served on the boards of two local chapters. These organizations have blessed her life with encouragement in the growth of her art.

Golda has been very fortunate to have studied with other well known artists and designers. They have inspired her for many years and she will use their inspiration in the years to come.
